We don't hold that against you. We love Macs too because they simply work better, they're pleasant to use, and they are more fun. Macs can be challenging to run a business from, but that's a controversy for another venue. Unlike a PC, if a Mac is malfunctioning, it's probably a real issue. A PC is always somewhere between broken and working properly.
Visit EveryMac.com to find out information about your Mac that could be helpful. Both the good news and the bad news is that more problems with a Mac (than a PC) are hardware related. This is good news because troubleshooting is faster. This can be bad news because hardware problems can be more expensive to repair than software problems.

Another common issue with Mac laptops is that the keyboard gets dirty and crumbs get stuck between the keys on the keyboard. For that issue, I suggest starting with Cyber Clean. If that doesn't work, then it may be necessary to remove the keyboard, blow with compressed air, then reinstall the keyboard.

If you have an iMac (like the one pictured above), make sure you put it to sleep or turn it off as often as possible, because they have issues with overheating. This is a severe design flaw on some models that can be avoided or delayed by leaving it on less.

So who is a candidate for switching from a PC to a Mac? This debate is not typically scientific, but instead based largely on preference. People live with shortcomings in their software for decades to avoid changing software. It's human nature.
If you can afford a Mac and you're really tired of the shortcomings of PCs (e.g., malware, chinsey performance), then making the switch is a good move.
Will the change be smooth? No, because no software change is smooth. Will it end up worth it within a couple of months? Probably.
